Qualified seeds of the perennial ryegrass, red fescue, sheep fescue, tall fescue and Kentucky bluegrass - who are all photophilic species that tolerate water shortages well and stand out with great vigour - will allow you to create a compact, decorative turf on sites with meagre, dry, sandy soil.
