Savoy Cabbage is a late variety that produces large green heads, which sport characteristic wrinkles and grow in a fairly dense form. The Savoy Cabbage heads are covered with a coating that resembles wax; they can be eaten raw. This variety is good for storing as well as for souring, and has a tasty mild flavour.
Growing: sow the seeds in a seedbed from March to April. Plant out into the soil from May to June. Grow the plants in 50-60x60-70cm spacings. The vegetables are ready to be harvested from October to November.
Each packet contains two grams of seeds.
