"Big Mama F1" tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) is a variety that produces extremely large, plum-shaped fruit. It is intended for cultures in plastic foil tunnels and greenhouses. Fruit mature circa seventy days after planting of the seedlings. These plants are indeterminate, grow rapidly and need staking. Large, elongated fruit grow up to 13 cm long and 8 cm in diameter, while they can weigh up to 280 g. "Big Mama F1" fruit are very fleshy and tasty - this is one of the best tomato cultivars for preserves. They are great for aromatic and smooth pulps, sauces and soups.

Seeds of the "Big Mama F1" tomato may be sown already in January in a warm room. After approximately 2 - 3 months seedlings would have developed properly and they could be transplanted to the permanent site. Leave 50 cm spacings between the plants. First ripe fruit will appear on plants in June and can be harvested even in October. This variety is intended for cultivation in soil in greenhouses and tunnels or on other kinds of substrates. Tomatoes need plenty of sunlight and warmth to grow well and yield rich crops.
