The Yellow Xenox orpine (Sedum telephium) belongs to garden rarities. You would never associate the Sedum genus with sunny yellow flowers. Presented perennial produces they typical for the Xenox cultivars dark, purple foliage. Compact panicles develop over the dense tuft of leathery, shiny leaves in the second half of summer and early autumn. Tear-shaped flower buds that are gathered in semi-spherical umbels are pink-orange. They open into light yellow flowers. Saturated, warm colours of the buds and open flowers wonderfully contrast with the deep purple colouring of shoots and leaves. No one stays indifferent to this charming variety.

A border, rock garden, an edge of a showcase lawn, an embankment, parapet, a sunny place of relaxation - the Yellow Xenox orpine can adorn all those places and be admired there. The perennial presented in our store is small, only 30 to 40 centimetres yet vigorous and resistant. It fits everywhere and has low growing requirements. Orpines love the sun and show high tolerance to water shortages. They are also hardy and do not require covering before winter. They bloom long and abundantly with minimal effort. They feel good in lime, permeable, and less fertile soil. We advise to plant seedlings of the presented variety in larger groups that consist of various varieties of Sedum plants of the same group (e.g. Xenox and Rainbow Xenox) and in multi-storey compositions with more abundant stonecrops (e.g. Brillant, Carl, José Aubergine, and Purple Emperor).

One package contains 1 first choice seedling. Essential growing instructions have been printed on each package.
