Bleeding Hearts is a one-of-a-kind perennial plant that grows 50 to 70 centimetres in height. Its fabulous whitish-red flowers strongly resemble hearts both in shape and colour. With a flowering period from May to June, Bleeding Hearts is ideal variety for perennial beds, planters, and is a perfect choice to grow along with other perennial varieties.
Growing: sow the seeds in planter boxes indoors. For the first two weeks, keep them at a temperature of 10-15oC. Then, move the boxes into a place kept at 0-6oC for a month. After a month, move them into a bright room kept at a temperature of 10-20oC. Plant the seedlings out into pallet planters or pots with a diameter of 8 to 10 centimetres. Plant out into a permanent position in August. This perennial is frost-resistant.
