Cauliflower ‘Di Sicilia Violetto’ is a medium-late variety, which is intended to be cultivated in the soil and harvested in the autumn. This plant produces very unique purple heads; they can be used for garnishing or as a healthy and delicious addition to various dishes. Cauliflower ‘Di Sicilia Violetto’ is a little spicier than the most common cauliflower varieties with white heads.
Growing: sow the seeds in pots or in pallet planters from April to May. Plant out into the soil in 40-50cm spacings from May to June. The plants require moist fertile soils.
