"Iznik F1" cucumber (Cucumis sativus) is an interesting variety intended for cultivation in containers, making growing it possible for people who do not possess a garden. These parthenocarpic plants show high productivity. This salad variety develops fruit that grow 10 - 12 cm long. Smooth peel takes on even, bright green colouring. Crunchy, delicious fruit are perfect for salads, sandwiches and many other dishes.

"Iznik F1" cucumber may be grown from seedlings prepared in a warm room. You may sow them from March to July. The ready seedlings may be placed on a balcony or terrace only in the second half of May, after the risk of spring frosts is gone. Young plants need to be hardened prior to transplantation. Cucumbers need high temperatures, large amounts of water and nutrients. Regular fertilization and watering is absolutely essential in the container cultivation.
