This plant is easy in cultivation and requires permeable soil rich in nutrients with slightly acidic reaction. You should choose wind-sheltered and sunny spots in your garden for this garden dahlia. Its seeds are sown in spring indoors. You need to fill pots or trays with light soil and cover seeds with a thin layer of it. Seedlings would be ready after 4 - 6 weeks, but they can be transplanted outside after the risk of spring temperature drops is over.
