Globe Daisy is a perennial plant that grows 20 to 25 centimetres in height. Its flowering period spans from May to June. Globe Daisy, producing beautiful ball-shaped blue to violet flowers, is particularly recommended to be grown in small spaces, including rockeries and rock gardens.
Growing: sow the seeds from December to February in its natural environment; the seeds germinate in 12 to 15 days after the seeds have been moved into a greenhouse or under heated cover. Plant out into a permanent position from August to September. The plants thrive in light soils that contain calcium. This variety is tolerant to drought. After the seeds have been exposed to frost, they germinate in 12 to 15 days at 18-20oC. Half a gram of seeds produces around one thousand plants.
