Lac Balsam for trees and shrubs, secures cuts and grafts from Substral®, sold in 150 g packages, is a grafting wax that may be used on garden and home plants. It is available in a handy tube that ends with a brush facilitating application of the product. Lac Balsam has been manufactured of natural ingredients and is intended for securing cuts, grafts and wounds that occur on trees and shrubs. It may be conveniently used on roses and a wide variety of ornamental trees and shrubs. Its main goal is to secure the wounded spot from pathogens, substituting the natural protection layer - bark.

Presented wax should be used on cuts and grafts. The wound needs to be covered with the product soonest possible after making the cut. It is of utmost importance to perform a clean, even cut, leaving only healthy wood. Cover the whole cut and a 2 cm ring around it thoroughl with wax. The grafting wax presented here will protect plants from diseases. It may applied all year long apart from the periods of rain and frost.
