Microgreens lettuce mix offers you a chance to grow a mini garden on your own windowsill. Growing plants for micro leaves is gaining more and more popularity. We offer seeds of lettuce species and varieties that are undemanding in cultivation and delight with their taste. Young plants contain far more nutrients than their ripe counterparts. They are also highly aromatic and extremely decorative. They can be grown all year round, regardless of the season. You harvest them already, when they are a few centimetres high. Tender, crunchy, juicy microgreens offer an excellent taste experience.

In order to grow young tender leaves, you would need a container filled with soil and, preferably, a sprayer to keep the surface moist. Seeds offered here are very productive. You would be able to harvest abundant foliage from a small, flat dish. Peat or other kind of highly permeable soil is recommended for this type of cultures. You would only need to spread the seeds evenly on the soil and press gently inside. Place the container in a well-lit place. Germination usually takes 10 to 14 days. In order to speed up the emergence, covering the container with opaque foil is recommended. Cut the edible parts right above the ground, when they become harvest-ready. You would be able to harvest only once, as these plants do not grow back.

This lettuce selection is a tasty composition of several species that differ in colour and texture. It will provide you with a great base for all kinds of salads. They can also be used to as dish garnishing. Microgreens are such a brilliant way to access valuable, fresh and tasty plant food.
