Napa cabbage "Pacifico F1" (Brassica rapa var. pekinensis) is an early, Dutch, very productive and resistant variety. It produces cylindrical, compact, closed heads that are storable long-term. White-green, crunchy, delicate leaves are delicious, rich in provitamin A, B vitamins, vitamin C and other valuable nutrients. They may be consumed raw in salads or used in hot dishes. Since the "Pacifico F1" napa cabbage is resistant to developing flowering stalks and tipburn, we recommend to grow it in the open field all season long.
Seeds of this sturdy, heterotic cultivar may be sown in spring and summer to containers, onto a seed bed or even directly to the field. Napa cabbage requires a sheltered, sunny site protected from strong gales, with moderately compact, humous soil that shows high water capacity. Its heads, intended for direct consumption or storing, are harvested from July until October.
One package contains 20 (twenty pieces) "Pacifiko F1" napa cabbage seeds. A growing guide and the sow-by date have been included in the product information.
