The Picasso alumroot is a perennial herbaceous plant that produces decorative leaves. It grows 30 to 40 centimetres tall at the peak of the season. Dentate, green-yellow leaves covered with dense net of dark veins are a characteristic feature of the plant. The numerous, tiny, red flowers can be considered another ornament of this alumroot. The Picasso coral bells looks best in spring and autumn when it presents the brightest colours on its dense tufts. These small plants with ornamental leaves look spectacular planted in rows alongside pavements and paths or as colourful bedding under trees. You can plant them in large clusters or alone. They expose their charm in either version. Presented plant grows well in planters on a balcony, or terrace. You can use alum root's leaves in bouquets.

This plant species requires sunny situations or partial shade, always sheltered from the wind. It does not need too fertile soil. Make sure to water alumroot regularly to ensure proper growth, as this plant is particularly sensitive to water shortage. Use compost to fertilize plants that grow in the ground in spring, and liquid plant food in planters. Picasso is a hardy variety but to be on the safe side, cover the plants with conifer twigs or dry leaves, protecting the root crown from the frost. Plants should be rejuvenated every few years to let the plants retain their decorative features.

One package contains 1 seedling of the Picasso alumroot. Basic plant information and growing tips were included in the product information on the label.
