Purple Brussels Sprouts is a variety that produces many greenish-purple heads. Not only do the heads taste very good and have a rich nutritional value, but they can also be used as little decorations or for garnishing. Purple Brussels Sprouts look particularly eye-catching and unique when surrounded by snow – they are excellent for making outstanding decorations during the winter.
Growing: sow the seeds in covered planter boxes, pallet planters or in a seedbed in April. Plant out into a permanent position in 40-50x40-50cm spacings from late May to early June. This variety grows best in fertile humus soils with calcium.
