Scarlet Sage ‘Red Halo’ is an annual plant that grows 25 to 30 centimetres in height. It produces one-of-a-kind two-tone flowers that collectively make long thick spikes. The flowers develop fairly intricate brilliant red inflorescences, which make the plant an excellent variety for decorations. Scarlet Sage ‘Red Halo’ is highly recommended to be grown in flower beds or in planters.

Growing: sow the seeds in planter boxes or in covered pallet planters. The seeds germinate in 14 to 20 days at 16-22°C. Prick out the seedlings once they have developed 1 to 2 pairs of leaves. Plant out into a permanent position in 25-30cm spacings in the second half of May. Grow the plants in fairly moist fertile soils. Water and fertilise the plants frequently to promote their growth.
