Yellow Patty Pan Squash is a variety that has the shape of a disk, while the skin and flesh are both in a lovely shade of yellow. The young fruit can be pickled or soured as they are, and can be used as an ingredient in delicious vegetable salads. Yellow Patty Pan Squash, with its lovely fruit in a beautiful yellow, can also serve as a glamorous decorative plant.

Growing: sow the seeds in pots in late April or directly into the soil in the first half of May; in the latter case, sow 2 to 3 seeds in each position in 100x80cm spacings. Grow the plants in moist fertile soils.
