The Blue Cup and Saucer Vine is a unique annual trailing variety that grows around 5 metres in height. Its flowering period is long; it starts in July and lasts all the way up to the first frost. Thanks to this, this plant can be used as a decoration for a very long time during each season. The Blue Cup and Saucer Vine is commonly used to cover trellis, arbours, porches, balconies, walls, or other objects.
Growing: sow the seeds in pots under heated cover from February to March. The seeds germinate in 14 to 20 days at 18-20oC. Plant out into a permanent position in 40cm spacings in May. The plants require fairly moist fertile clay-humus soils in sunny positions. 150 grams of seeds produce around one thousand plants.
