Cauliflower "Beta" (Brassica oleracea convar. Botrytis) is the earliest variety intended for field cultivation. It produces large, compact heads that strike with their taste. The florets are clean white in colour and do not tend to become yellow nor pinkish.
The seeds of the "Beta" cauliflower for early harvest should be sown under covers or at home, to production pots or seeding trays already in early spring. Hardened seedlings should be transferred to open field later in spring. Sunny sites with humous, fertile, moist and medium compact soils should be selected for cauliflower cultivation. Beautiful, large florets can be harvested in May the earliest, and the harvest could take place until July. Crops of the presented variety are recommended for direct consumption. Cauliflower heads contain valuable minerals and the full set of the most important vitamins, like B vitamins and vitamin C.
