The "Pandora" common poppy produces flowers that dazzle with a variety of red tones, ranging from burgundy to bright rose pastels. This representative of the resistant and easy to grow Papaver rhoeas species is resistant to frost and adverse environmental conditions despite its delicate appearance. For this reason, common poppy seeds can be sown on flowerbeds and borders in late autumn and early spring. Its flowers - magnificent, semi-double, with petals thin as tissue paper - can be enjoyed, depending on the sowing date, in the first or second half of summer. The variety offered in our store reaches 60 cm in height, has an erect habit and abundant, feathery foliage. It looks most beautiful in large, free groupings.
Pandora field poppy seeds are sown directly to the target site, into moist, loosened and highly drained soil. Plants feel best in full sun, which is why they produce the largest, most beautifully coloured flowers in bright, open positions. Undemanding, vigorous common poppy will form great partnerships with summer border perennials and all annual species. We recommend combining it with other colourful poppy varieties on flower beds that will lure pollinating insects to the garden.
Each package contains 0.1 g of "Pandora" common poppy seeds. Each package contains growing instructions and the sow-by-date.
