The tall Hugo tomato is a medium-early and exceptionally productive variety. It is perfectly suited for growing in a greenhouse and, when staked, in the open field. Their tasty and compact flesh can also be processed.

Depending on the type of the culture, tomato seeds should be sown from February to end of March. Well-developed seedlings with at least a few true leaves can be transplanted to the permanent site. Sowing for open field cultures should begin in March and in April for greenhouse growing. Transplant seedlings to the uncovered borders after mid-May, in 70-80 x 40-60 cm spacings. Tomatoes are harvested from mid-July until first cold wave in autumn.
