The Ponytail Palm is a perennial plant that is often called Elephant's Foot. This variety can be cultivated indoors, where it grows very well. Growing rather slowly, it produces a thick stem which is very wide at the bottom portion, while at the top of the Ponytail Palm grows a large rosette of lovely elongated leaves.

Growing: before sowing, scrape the seeds with sand paper to slightly damage the husks, then soak the seeds in warm water for 2 to 3 hours. Sow the seeds in pallet planters or in pots with moist soil in positions that are kept at around 18-22°C. The seeds germinate in several weeks. From the spring to the autumn, fertilise and water the plant a lot, but only occasionally. In the winter, this variety requires to be kept at lower temperatures and does need nearly as much water as in the period from the spring to the autumn.

Each packet contains 0.3g of seeds.
Each packet includes a growing guide and a sow-by date.
