Tomato "Pelikan F1" (Lycopersicon esculentum), for greenhouse, tunnel or field cultivation, is an excellent choice for cultivation on allotments and in home gardens. It shows increased productivity and resistance to diseases as a heterotic cultivar. The fruit of "Pelikan F1" tomato are regularly shaped, slightly flattened, covered by strong, intensely red peel and do not develop green shoulders. They weigh 80 - 120 g and develop 3 - 4 chambers. Their flesh is juicy, rich in healthy sugars, lycopene and the indispensible beta-carotene. It has a sweet, excellent taste. The medium large, great looking, shiny tomatoes are recommended for direct consumption, raw in sandwiches and salads.

Seeds offered here may be sown onto a hotbed or cool hotbed, in a greenhouse or at home - in an indoor greenhouse or on a seeding tray. You should start the greenhouse cultivation for the earliest harvest already in winter, and if you intend to plant seedlings in the field or in an unheated tunnel, sow in early spring. Compact, erect plants of the "Pelikan F1" variety require staking. In warmer regions they yield equally rich harvest in the field. The fruit, that may be stored for a short time, are harvested from end of April until beginning of July.

One package contains 0.1 g of "Pelikan" tomato seeds. The package information contains growing instructions and the sow-by date.
