"Mirabell" tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) delights with its productivity and bears large clusters of smaller fruit. This indeterminate cocktail tomato variety shows very strong growth and therefore needs stable supports. "Mirabell" variety is intended for cultivation in the field, but it will also thrive in containers placed on a balcony or terrace. Shape and colour of the tine fruit resemble mirabelle plums. Juicy, sweet and delicious berries are covered with thin, barely noticeable peel. Fruit of this variety are recommended for direct consumption.
Tomato seeds should be sown early in spring already. Prepare seedlings in a warm and well-lit room. Transplant seedlings outside in the second half of May, when the young plants would not be exposed to frosts anymore. "Mirabell" variety requires plenty of space in order to develop and bear fruit due to its strong growth. Choose sunny and wind-sheltered sites for its cultivation. Well drained soils rich in nutrients that do not water-log will suit these vegetables best.
Each package contains 0.5 g of the "Mirabell" field, tall cocktail tomato seeds. Growing instructions and the sow-by date are included in the package information.
