Sprouting seeds - Mesclun salad mix with rocket (arugula) - is an aromatic and distinctly tasting composition of leaf vegetables, created with the famous Provencal Mesclun salad in mind. This proposed variety selection contains seeds of different green and red lettuce cultivars. Rocket is the main, leading ingredient and its pleasant, fresh, characteristic taste magnificently underscores meat, dairy, vegetarian fare's, soups and sauces' taste and features. This Mesclun selection shows quick germination and growth, while the sprouts of leaf vegetables contain valuable vitamins and minerals. They supply us with provitamin A, vitamin C, B vitamins, as well as easily assimilable kalium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, iron and other minerals.

The sprouting seeds selection offered in our store may be grown in a sprouter or on a plate lined with cellulose tissue. You only need to soak the seeds in lukewarm, previously boiled water for 6 to 8 hours, transfer them to the container of your choice and rinse with water 2 - 3 times daily. The sprouts would be ready to eat after circa 5 days. We recommend to serve them in salads, on sandwiches or as a healthy, green addition to warm dishes.
