Creeping nasturtium "Scharlachglanz" (Tropaeolum majus maximum) is an annual plant, valued for its extremely long blooming period. It develops long, creeping shoots that may grow 4 m long. Large, peltate, pale green, slightly bluish leaves form a great background for the intensely red flowers. Trumpet-shaped blooms with a diameter of 7 cm develop all summer long until the first autumn frosts. The "Scharlachglanz" creeping nasturtium may be used as covering plant for gazebos, fences and grates. Planted in pots it may serve as natural covering for balcony and terrace railings.

This easily cultivated and trouble-free species is very attractive. Nasturtium seeds should be sown in spring directly to the site where the plants are supposed to bloom. Choose sunny sites for nasturtium cultures, although it may also grow in partial shade. The "Scharlachglanz" creeping nasturtium has little requirements in regard to the soil, it thrives even in lesser soil. It prefers, though, humous, moist and well-drained soils.

Each package contains 2 g of "Scharlachglanz" red creeping nasturtium seeds. The package information contains a growing guide and the sow-by date.
