The intriguing canary creeper (Tropaeolum peregrinum), also known as canarybird flower or vine, is an annual creeping plant that is unproblematic in cultivation, will add lightness to and serve many purposes in your garden. Its slender, trailing stems are decorated with large, flat, five-lobed leaves with rounded edges. From July to October, numerous yellow, asymmetrical flowers with feathery petals sprout from between them. The canary creeper can grow up to 200-300 cm long in one season. We recommend to plant it by a wire fence, gazebo, pergola or by a wall (with additional support of a wire frame). It will also fit perfectly into a balcony. The plant climbs on its supports with its elastic runners.

Second half of April and May is the optimal time for sowing. Seeds should be placed directly into permanent site in holes dug in 30-40 cm spacings. Presented plant prefers sunny sites with light, permeable soils enriched with a dab of compost. A very rich soil will result in stronger growth of green parts in comparison to the number of blooms.

One packet contains 2 g canary creeper seeds. The sow-by date and growing guide are printed at the back side of the package.
