Fennel sprouting seeds (Foeniculum vulgare) show a treasure of beneficial influences. Seedlings of this valuable plant are rich in vitamins, particularly provitamin A, B vitamins, vitamin C and minerals, such as calcium, kalium and other nutrients necessary in your daily diet. Thanks to the essential oil content they show antiseptic and cleansing effects, regulate digestion, help heal indigestion, act as diuretic and diastolic medicine. Fennel sprouts resemble ripe stems and leaves of the plant with their taste and aroma, hence they go well with meat and vegetable dishes, cottage chees, sauces, cold soups, salads and eggs.

Seeds can be easily grown at home - you only need a scalded jar with a gauze cover, linen bag or a sprouter. Rinsed seeds, soaked in luke-warm water should be placed into the container of your choice. Rinsing should be repeated twice a day. Fennel sprouts production takes some time, as the young plants are ready to be harvested and eaten only after 10 to 12 days after the sow. They make up for this disadvantage with their taste and excellent nutritional value (and low-calorie content).

Each package contains 5 g of fennel sprouting seeds. Sprout production guide and the sow-by date are printed at the back side of the package.
