Chinese Foxglove is an attractive non-hardy perennial plant that grows up to 1 metre in height. It features loose bunches of flamboyant, 10 centimetre-wide flowers that hang off its branched shoots. Chinese Foxglove has glamorous trumpet-shaped pink or pinkish-violet flowers. This plant is recommended to be grown in flower containers with permeable, fertile soil, ideally in sunny positions. In the spring, this variety can be planted out directly into the soil.
Growing: sow the seeds under cover from March to May. The seeds germinate in 2 to 3 weeks. The plants flower over around three months in the following year. In the winter, move the plants into a bright and cool room or to a winter garden.
